The Department provides a special paid collection service for $10 per cubic yard ($20 per cubic yard for concrete), subject to a $20 minimum fee. This service must be utilized for yard trimming collections that do not meet the weekly yard trimming criteria, bulky items outside your normal collection day and/or any large amount of construction debris from major household renovation typically performed by a private contractor. Special Paid Collections can be scheduled through Customer Service at (972) 769-4150 and charges will appear on City of Plano utility bill.

Special Paid Collections are completed with a boom truck (large truck with a crane that lifts items into the bed of the truck).  Debris for collection must be clear of all obstacles, such as fence, gas meter, mailbox, low hanging wires, etc.
