City of Plano Ordnance No. 95-8-49 Declares Graffiti to be a Safety Hazard and Public Nuisance which contributes to Neighborhood Deterioration and results in property devaluation.

Unlawful for a minor to posses indelible markers or pressurized devices.

Parents and guardians are responsible for graffiti created by their minor dependants.

Unlawful to sell or give indelible markers or pressurized paint devices to minors.

Property owners are responsible for removing graffiti on their property.

Violations to this ordinance are subject to fines of $200.00 - $2000.00 per occurrence.

The city may remove graffiti at no cost after receiving written consent and a waiver of liability from the property owner.
