Quality assurance plays an important role in the continual improvement of an emergency dispatcher. Plano PSC has two full-time quality assurance employees dedicated to providing feedback on emergency medical calls to ensure we are meeting the standards set by the National Academy for Emergency Medical Dispatching (NAEMD), which is a non-profit organization promoting safe and effective emergency dispatch services world-wide.

Plano PSC utilizes NAED's medical protocols to ensure we are providing the best over-the-phone instructions possible to callers encountering a medical emergency.

If you have any questions about how we handle medical calls, please contact one of our Quality Assurance Coordinators Jennifer Himes or Mark Orona.
