Individuals with outstanding warrants are encouraged to take care of these matters at once to avoid being arrested at home, in your place of business or during a traffic stop. All warrants are entered into a Regional Database System that enables all police officers to check for active warrants. Therefore, you may be arrested by a jurisdiction other than Plano as well. See “How To Clear Your Warrant(s)” for details.
A complete listing of persons with outstanding warrants is published weekly and available on-line. You may visit the Plano Police Department’s website for details.

GPS is an independent company that charges a fee for its service. The Municipal Court receives no part of that fee.
NOTE: Warrants will remain active unless the fine is paid in full. In accordance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Art. 27.14(c), case payment will result in waiver of a jury trial and a finding of guilty, which may be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
NOTE: Payment through GPS will result in a conviction on your driving record if you have not previously entered a plea. Payment through GPS may NOT be used to process Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition options.
