Wedding Professionals Select Plano Centre for Top Honor
On September 13, 2011 during the annual Association of Wedding Professionals members meeting, Plano Centre was awarded Venue of the Year, which was voted on by the members of AWP. There to receive the award was Claudia Robbins, AWP 2nd vice president and Plano Centre event manager.

Plano Centre Recognized as Best Meeting and Event Venue
Plano Centre has been named among Texas’s top attractions of The Official Best Of Texas 2011 as the Best Meeting and Event Venue for the second consecutive year. “The recognition of the hard work demonstrated over the years by the Plano Centre staff is a great achievement, we couldn’t be prouder to represent Plano and Texas as the Best Meeting and Event Venue! We appreciate this distinction and will always do our utmost to represent excellence in the hospitality industry,” said Plano Centre Manager Linda Dixon.
Featuring 122,500 square feet of available conference and event space, Plano Centre can accommodate up to 5,000 guests. An executive chef on staff makes the dining experience delicious.
