The Police Department rents fingerprint boards/pads for public use. Each fingerprint board/pad comes with 50 fingerprint cards. The cost to rent the board/pad is $5.00 and is non-refundable. Engraver machines are also available for public use. The cost to rent the engravers is $10.00 and this fee is refundable upon return of the engraver.
Videos on several topics are available to the public. There is no charge for the videos, except that they need to be returned.
Equipment rentals are only available to Plano residents, unless a special request has been approved by the Crime Prevention Unit Sergeant.
