9-1-1 Education: Cell Phone Sally How 9-1-1 Works C.A.R.E. Program

Cell Phone Sally is a nationally recognized program designed to target children age 3 to 7 years old. This program focuses on teaching children the difference between an emergency situation and a non-emergency situation. The City of Plano's instructors are experienced men and women who  emphasize to children the significance of knowing their address and telephone number as well as the proper way to describe situations to 9-1-1 calltakers. This one hour program consists of a video, speaker presentation, use of a 9-1-1 simulator and age-appropriate ‘take-home’ materials. You may watch a trailer for the video here, and visit Sally's facebook page here.
