PSC has a very experienced and knowledgeable administrative and management support staff. These individuals are continuously evaluating and working to improve all aspects of the emergency services we deliver, and also monitor/prepare for anything that could affect The City of Plano and its emergency services.
Ron Timmons, Communications Director
One of five department heads within Plano’s Public Safety Services Business Center (along with Emergency Management, Fire, Police and Health Departments). Responsible for overall planning, direction and staffing of emergency dispatch operations and regional two-way voice and data public safety communications systems.
Susan Carr, Communications Administrative Manager
The PSC Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing support personnel. Those functions include Hiring, Policy and Accreditation, Computer Operations and Technology, Quality Assurance, Training and Public Education. The administrative manager also provides oversight of the Purchasing and Budget processes for the PSC department.
Tammy Kennedy, Communications Operations Manager
The Public Safety Communication Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily and emergency functions of the 9-1-1/Dispatch operations. Responsible for coordinating communication functions between Police, Fire and PSC. Researches and responds to citizen inquiries involving department service delivery.
Sonya Bilovecky, Administrative Coordinator
The Administrative Coordinator performs complex special projects, preparing reports, scheduling, analyzing data, researching alternatives and making recommendations to ensure efficient departmental operations. Responsible for assisting citizens and customers with general information related to open records requests.
Trang Tran, Administrative Coordinator
Trang works closely with the PSC Director and managers to assist on complex special projects and reports (Strategic Plans, Annual Reports, Council agenda items, etc). Trang ensures departmental functions are completed on time and on budget. Trang’s duties include the development, implementation and monitoring of the department's budget. She also processes purchase orders to procure goods, coordinates invoices for payment, and processes personnel and payroll documents. Trang also screens calls and visitors and provides information to assist citizens and customers with general information.
