In order to continue providing excellent service to our community PSC holds a yearly in-service training for all of the call-takers and dispatchers. The goal of this training is to review policy and address any issues, practice on and test the equipment at our backup facility, specialize on key changes in the world of 9-1-1, and increase overall awareness of how our department interacts with other city departments. Because we need to maintain our services 24/7 the three shifts (mornings/evenings/deep nights) attend one of two sessions broken up to ensure proper coverage.
